I'm really excited about the upcoming Canon EOS R7 Mark II! Does anyone have information on its release date? I've heard some rumors, but I'm looking for more concrete details. Will it be released in 2025, and what features can we expect? Thanks in advance for any insights!

Re: "IN 2026." - honestly that timeline feels way more grounded than the 2025 predictions people are tossing around. I spent a long time waiting for the first version to drop back in the day, thinking it would be out in months. I kept holding off on buying anything, which turned out to be a mistake. By the time it actually launched, I had missed out on a whole season of shooting because I was so focused on the next big thing. I finally just grabbed the current model I have now and it has been a total workhorse for years. Most of the folks here seem split between a late 2025 release or even a total model replacement, but my experience is that these cycles always take longer than the rumors suggest. I am just gonna keep using what I have until the new one is actually sitting on a shelf... no point in stressing over dates that keep shifting anyway.
