I am really stressed out right now because my sons birthday is coming up in about three weeks and I really want to get him this specific 50 inch TV he saw at our local Walmart but the price just keeps jumping around like crazy and I dont know why. Last week it was $248 and then I went to check today and its suddenly $315 which is way over my budget since I only have about $260 saved up for this. I feel like such a failure if I cant get it for him on time.

I tried just refreshing the page on my phone every hour but I keep forgetting or I am busy at work and I think I am missing the price drops. Someone told me there are tools that can watch the price for you but I am so confused and honestly terrified of clicking the wrong thing and getting a virus on my computer. I have no idea where to even start with this stuff or if it even costs money to use those sites. Is there a free tool that is actually simple for someone who is totally tech-illiterate? I just need it to tell me when the price goes down so I can go buy it immediately before the stock runs out again...

I felt so relieved once I stopped manual checking. Honestly, using PriceDropCatch worked well for me when I was hunting for a Nintendo Switch. It pings your email so you dont miss the window. Just a heads up, sometimes those low prices are only for in-store pickup, so check that setting!

Quick question, is it the Vizio brand or that Onn store brand? I remember buying my nephew a TV years ago and we spent the whole party trying to figure out why the sound wouldnt work with his old Xbox. We ended up just ordering pizza and playing board games instead... anyway sorry I got distracted lol. You should try PriceDropCatch since it keeps things simple and you dont have to visit sketchy sites.

Hey, totally get the stress... Ive been tracking these deals for years and Walmart prices are honestly a nightmare lately. You definitely dont need to pay for anything tho. I would suggest checking these:

  • Set up a deal alert on Slickdeals.
  • Use the Honey extension to track history.
  • Be careful to check if its "Sold and Shipped by Walmart" since third-party sellers jack up prices. These are safe and simple. Hope it drops soon!
