What prime lens should I get for my R7 specifically for portraits?? I'm in a bit of a panic because I'm shooting my sisters outdoor engagement party in literally 10 days and I only have the kit lens right now. I read that the RF 50mm f1.8 is basically a must-have for everyone but then I saw a video saying on the R7s crop sensor it acts more like an 80mm which might be way too close if I'm trying to get more than just headshots in a small garden. Then people suggest the 35mm f1.8 but is that gonna distort faces too much? I have about $450 to spend max and I need to order it tonight so it gets here in time. Should I go with the 50 or the 35?

Honestly, I'd go with the 35mm for a garden setting. That 80mm equivalent on the 50mm is nice for tight headshots but you'll be constantly backing into bushes to fit people in.
