Dropped way too much cash on this R5II for a Seattle wedding next month and now Im stuck. Everyone says the 85mm 1.2 is the only choice but it's so expensive, and people are arguing over whether the f2 version is actually pro quality or just a toy. What is the best portrait lens for this camera that wont break me?

The 1.2 is overkill. Id stick with Canon RF 85mm f/2 Macro IS STM because its reliable. The stabilization helps keep shots sharp and safe in low-light wedding venues.
