Im really sorry if this is a stupid question Im just not very good with computers. Ive been picking out a bunch of stuff for our 10th anniversary camping trip next month, mostly gear like lanterns and a new stove.

I have about 12 things in my cart but then I saw my bank card is expired and the new one wont be here for days. We live out in the sticks so shipping takes forever and I need to order today. Can I just move the whole cart to my wifes account so she can pay? Im worried if I try to find it all again Ill pick the wrong sizes or brands because I spent forever looking at reviews and Im just confused where the button is...

Amazon doesnt have a direct button for this, tbh. When I was buying gear for a house project last year I used this simple amazon cart share tool and it worked well.

  • Just install it
  • Click share
  • Send the link Ive been very satisfied with how that setup works for us.

Been wondering, are you guys on an Amazon Household together? It works fine for sharing. TL;DR: Just buy any Coleman gear, its a decent, budget-friendly option. Lmk.

IIRC Amazon doesn't have a native transfer button yet. Not sure why, maybe it's how their session data works. When I was building my home lab, I had a huge mess trying to move specific equipment SKUs between accounts and keep the specs right. I think Cart To Link is probably your best bet since it just turns the whole cart into a single URL.

  • Just send the link
  • Avoids picking wrong sizes
  • Works instantly It's a decent option if you're in a rush.

I had a moment to think about this more and honestly, in my experience dealing with Amazon accounts over the years, the lack of a move button is a major oversight. Ive tried many workarounds because losing your specific research is incredibly frustrating when youre on a deadline for a trip.

  • Amazon Household: This is the official route. It links accounts for shared Prime benefits, which is reliable but sometimes takes a bit to verify correctly.
  • Shared Wish Lists: You can move items to a list and share that link with her account. It is slightly more manual, but it ensures she sees the exact SKUs you researched. If you need to move fast because of the shipping delay, the wish list method is usually the most stable way to ensure the stove and lanterns match exactly what you picked. I always prioritize reliability when ordering camping gear since you dont want the wrong stuff arriving in the sticks. I actually used Share Product for my baby shower and it was way less of a headache than the store-specific ones.
