What registry site lets you add stuff from literally any online store? Im so sorry if this is a really basic question but I honestly have no idea what I am doing and I am starting to panic because our wedding is in just three months and people are already asking where we are registered. I tried setting one up on a big department store site but it only let me pick things from their own catalog and everything was way too expensive for my friends.

I really want to include some specific handmade dishes I found on Etsy and this one weird toaster from a small kitchen shop I love but I dont want to have like five different lists for people to check because that just seems like a huge mess for everyone involved. My family is all over the country and some are even in Canada so it needs to be easy for them to use without getting confused. Is there a site that just lets you paste a link from anywhere and it puts it all on one page? I heard someone mention a button you can add to your browser but I dont know how that works or if its hard to set up. I really need to get this done by this weekend or my mom is gonna kill me...

In my experience, you should definitely check out MyRegistry. I have used a lot of different platforms over the years for weddings and baby showers, and it is the most reliable one for pulling items from literally any site. It handles the Etsy stuff and those small kitchen shops perfectly without making a mess for your guests. Here are two quick tips to save your sanity:

  • Install their browser button right away. You just click it while browsing any site and it pulls the price and image automatically.
  • Sync your existing department store list to it so you dont have to start from scratch. This is the easiest way to keep your Canadian family from getting confused. It puts everything on one page regardless of where the item is actually being sold. Just get it done tonight so your mom chills out... it honestly takes like ten minutes once you get the hang of the browser button.
