Which cage should I get for the Canon EOS R6 Mark II because my current one is driving me insane? The cheap no-name one I bought blocks the flip screen halfway and I have a huge wedding shoot in Seattle in two weeks so I need something that actually works. Budget is around $100. Just need something reliable that wont break my ports...
Re: "Late to the party but I had to..." - be careful with those heavy rigs. For a long wedding day, you really want to stay light. I'd suggest the Neewer Camera Cage for Canon EOS R6 Mark II instead. It's way cheaper than the big brands but still feels rock solid.
Late to the party but I had to jump in because I went through three different rigs before finding the perfect fit for my R6II. Honestly, those cheap cages are a total nightmare for the flip screen! I ended up getting the SmallRig Cage for Canon EOS R6 Mark II 4159 and the clearance is just fantastic, seriously. It has multiple 1/4-20 threads and that amazing integrated Arca-Swiss plate that makes switching to my gimbal so fast. I also looked at the Tilta Full Camera Cage for Canon R6 Mark II Black because the aluminum alloy build is incredible for the price! Quick tip for ya: always make sure you use a dedicated cable clamp so you dont wreck those ports during a long wedding day! It saves so much stress. If you want to talk specs just hit me up, I love this stuff!
