Got a wedding this Saturday and my Rebel T7 is giving me a headache. I looked at the Godox X2T but I read some versions dont work because the T7 misses that middle pin on the hot shoe. Im stuck with a $50 budget and need something fast. Are there any cheap triggers that actually sync with this camera?

Honestly i went through the same panic when i first got my T7. I was so worried nothing would work because of that missing pin but I ended up getting the Godox X2T-C TTL Wireless Flash Trigger for Canon and its been perfect for me. At first it didnt fire but then i realized Godox updated the firmware to fix that exact issue. Its super easy to update if you have a pc. I used it for a small backyard event last month and i was really satisfied with how reliable it was. No misfires or anything. If the X2T is pushing your $50 budget maybe check out the Godox X1T-C TTL Wireless Flash Trigger for Canon as it is usually a bit cheaper. Just make sure the box says it supports the 2000D or T7 specifically and you should be totally fine... worked like a charm for me. I felt so relieved when I finally saw the flash go off.
