ive been trying to figure out how to take family photos at my daughters graduation next month but im so confused. people online say the t7 doesnt have a sensor for regular remotes? i only have about 25 bucks to spend. does anyone know which wireless shutter thingy actually works with this specific camera?

unfortunately I found out the hard way that the T7 doesn't have an infrared sensor. I bought a cheap generic remote and it was a total waste of money. I finally picked up the Pixel RW-221 DC2 Wireless Shutter Release for about $20. It uses a little receiver that plugs into the camera's side port. Works way better than the buggy phone app anyway.
