• Move your cart items to a new Shopping List
• Click the Invite button
• Send the link with edit permissions I love how this keeps everything organized for the boss!

The Shopping List idea mentioned before is usually solid, but I'm pretty sure I've seen people use a tool called Share-A-Cart for this too.
