Any browser extension to convert Amazon cart into a shareable link?

So i am super confused right now and feel kinda stupid asking this. I am trying to plan this huge 30th birthday party for my sister in like two weeks and I have been adding all these decorations and balloons and party favors into my amazon cart. My mom said she would help pay for the stuff but she wants to see everything first to make sure I didnt miss anything important.

The problem is I cant find any button to just send her a link to what is in my cart. I tried making a wishlist or whatever but it takes so long to move every single item over there and I already picked out the specific colors and amounts in the cart itself. Im really worried if I just send screenshots she will get confused or buy the wrong version of something. My budget is about $300 and I really need to get this ordered by Friday so it gets here in time for the party prep. I am in Chicago if that matters for shipping stuff.

Is there some kind of thing I can add to my chrome browser that just turns the whole cart into a link I can text her? I heard people talk about extensions but I have no idea how they work or if they are safe to use with my account info. Does anyone know a simple way to do this? I just want a big share button or something...

^ This. Also, omg I have this exact same issue and it is driving me absolutely insane! I have been a prime member for like 12 years and you would think they would have a button for this by now. I am planning my parents 50th anniversary right now and honestly... it is basically a total mess trying to coordinate with everyone.

  • Spending hours trying to move items into lists is a nightmare because the quantities never save right.
  • Tight budgets make it so stressful when you cant just let siblings pay for their share directly from the cart.
  • Screenshooting 40 items is just not a vibe for a vet user like me. I use Cart To Link for my holiday shopping usually and it is amazing but even then I still wish there was a native way to just click one button. It is so frustrating being stuck in this limbo where you have everything ready to go but no way to show people! Still searching for a miracle fix honestly.

Building on the earlier suggestion, i actually had a similar mess when i was trying to build a new gaming setup last spring. I had about 15 parts in my cart and was terrified of buying the wrong motherboard version. Trying to share that mess with my techy friends was a nightmare until i found these tools.

  • The consensus here is that amazon lists are pretty much useless for specific cart quantities.
  • Everyone is pointing toward Share-A-Cart because it keeps your account safe and doesnt need your login.
  • Performance-wise, it just handles large carts way better than manual screenshots which always seem to cut off the price or the specific seller info. Honestly just go with Share-A-Cart. You cant go wrong with it. Its the most solid option out there for making sure your mom sees exactly what you picked out without any glitching. Just get any version they have for your browser and itll save you so much time before your friday deadline.

Man I wish I found this thread sooner. Would have saved me so much hassle.

Ive been doing this for years for work events and honestly, you have to be careful with tools that touch your account. In my experience Share-A-Cart is the standard. It creates a simple code your mom can use to load your exact cart on her computer. It doesnt need your password which makes it much safer than other random extensions I've seen.

Stumbled upon this thread today and man, the stress of party planning on a budget is real. @Reply #1 - good point! regarding the security aspect... I am always super cautious about where my data goes, especially when money is tight. This actually reminds me of my cousins wedding last summer. I was in charge of the table settings and we had a strict $500 limit. I tried to do the whole screenshot thing and it was a complete mess because my aunt ended up ordering the wrong SKU for the tablecloths. We had half the tables in eggshell and the other half in ivory and nobody noticed until the day before. It was a whole ordeal trying to get refunds while staying under budget. I was looking into stuff like Cart To Link back then but I was too worried about messed up quantities to actually pull the trigger on an extension. I ended up just making a massive spreadsheet and typing everything in manually which took like five hours... probably wasnt the most efficient use of time but I was just so paranoid about the shipping dates in Chicago during the construction season.

Like someone mentioned, this lack of a native share button is a massive oversight. I'm usually the guy my friends call for tech specs and hardware builds, but I have this exact same issue right now. Been trying to spec out a dual-socket server build for my home lab for about three weeks and trying to show my partner the itemized list is a total nightmare. Every time I think I found a way, the quantities reset or the specific SKU for the enterprise drives goes missing. Its incredibly frustrating because the cart data is right there in the browser session, but Amazon just wont let us export it as a clean link. I keep searching for something like Cart To Link because doing this manually with 40+ items is a total waste of time. I still havent found a perfect fix that doesn't mess up the metadata or the session tokens.
