So I just got this Canon 90D recently because I want to take better photos of my sons soccer games but my hands are kinda big and the camera feels a bit awkward to hold for a long time. Someone told me I should look into getting a vertical battery grip thingy because it helps with the grip and makes the battery last longer which would be great for the big tournament we have coming up next month in Orlando. I have literally no idea what I am looking for though or if there are different brands that work better than others. Im trying to keep it under like 80 or 100 bucks if possible. Sorry if this is a super basic question but do you guys have any brands you recommend that wont break my camera?

Building on the earlier suggestion, I unfortunately had bad luck with cheap ones failing.

I picked up the Neewer Vertical Battery Grip for Canon EOS 90D for a long weekend tournament last year. It was a decent option that worked well without costing a fortune.

Also, I tried going super cheap with the Vivitar Pro Battery Grip for Canon 70D 80D 90D and unfortunately the shutter was mushy and the signal connection was laggy during bursts. I eventually tested the Meike MK-90D Battery Grip for Canon 90D because it has better voltage specs and gold-plated contacts. Its more reliable for sports tracking tho still feels a bit plasticky.
