honestly fed up with the setup I have right now because my current tripod is a total joke and my camera feels like its gonna fall every time the wind blows. I have a Canon Rebel T7 and im heading to Glacier National Park in like two weeks so I am super stressed about finding something that actually works. My logic was that a cheap kit would be fine but its just not sturdy at all. I need a solid travel tripod and a bag that can actually hold the body plus my 75-300mm lens without being huge. Budget is maybe $200 for both if thats even possible... everything I look at is either too expensive or looks like junk. What are you guys actually using that wont break my heart?
The MeFOTO RoadTrip S Aluminum Travel Tripod is a decent option because it has a hook for stability in the wind. Its compact but sturdy enough for a T7. Pair it with the Lowepro Tahoe BP 150 Lightweight Backpack to fit your long lens. It wont break the bank and keeps you under that $200 limit. Its a solid setup for Glacier. Have a blast out there.
> Budget is maybe $200 for both In my experience, Vanguard VEO 2 235AB Aluminum Tripod is way sturdier in wind. Combine it with the Amazon Basics Large DSLR Gadget Bag so you dont overspend.
