Which website is best for a housewarming gift registry?

We finally closed on our first little condo here in Chicago and I'm so stoked to finally have a place of my own after renting for like a decade! The housewarming party is in three weeks and people are already asking what we need so I gotta get a registry up fast.

I looked at Zola because I like their layout but it feels super wedding-focused? Like I dont want it to be weird for a housewarming. Then there's Amazon which has everything but it feels kinda cheap or cluttered sometimes. I want something that looks nice but lets me add stuff from different stores like Target or Crate and Barrel. What's the go-to site for this that isnt too wedding-y?

Can confirm this works. Did the same thing on mine and its been solid ever since.

Any updates on this?

I totally agree with using a universal tool. When I moved into my place in Wicker Park, I tried a few generic lists and the sync was buggy as hell. I would suggest being careful with sites that dont update prices in real-time tho... its basically a mess. Using MyRegistry worked better for me because their extension is technically more solid for pulling items from Target. Just make sure to double-check your quantities.

Honestly, universal lists are the only way to go when you want stuff from both local Chicago shops and big box stores. But unfortunately, I've had some major issues with the reliability of a few popular ones lately. Share Product used to be my go-to but the sync is just not as good as expected anymore and it keeps dropping items from the cart. Super frustrating when you're trying to get a condo set up. I actually moved my stuff over to the Christmas wishlist tool recently because the browser extension is way more stable. Even tho the name sounds seasonal, it works perfectly for year-round housewarmings if you just want something that doesnt glitch every five minutes. Plus it actually handles those Crate and Barrel links without breaking. Just a thought since you're on a tight three-week timeline!
