Need to move my 22-item cart to my husbands account for a big birthday haul tonight. I read about Share-A-Cart extensions but they seem kinda sketchy for security, and lists dont keep my coupons or quantities.

  • needs to be fast
  • keep specific quantities
  • safe for passwords

Is there any official way or just a better tool?...

Unfortunately, Amazon lacks a native migration API which is super disappointing for 2024. I had issues with lists failing to preserve quantity metadata during the transfer process before too.

  • Use Share-A-Cart for a secure session-less transfer.
  • It generates a unique ID so no passwords are ever exchanged.
  • It maintains full data integrity for all 22 items. Basically, just copy the ID... way faster than manual entry.

> Quantities always seem to reset when using their basic list feature. ^ This. Also, in my experience, trying to manually rebuild a 20+ item cart is a massive time sink. Lists strip all the metadata, so you end up double-checking every single item anyway. Using a dedicated tool is honestly the only way to keep everything intact without the headache. Just a heads up, Share-A-Cart is really helpful if you're trying to coordinate a big supply haul with a team.

Just saw this thread and unfortunately, the official Amazon experience is still pretty disappointing for syncing carts. Quantities always seem to reset when using their basic list feature. Its been a problem for years. To manage this efficiently:

  • Utilize the Household sharing feature.
  • Look into how to share amazon cart for automated tools. Just get any shopping tool from a major browser developer. You cant go wrong with those for bulk transfers.
