How can I share my Amazon cart without giving out login details?

So I am planning this big camping trip with my buddies next month and I already have like 20 items in my Amazon cart. Mostly lanterns and some bulk snacks. My friends want to see what I picked so they can pay me back or see if I missed anything but I really dont want to give them my password because my credit card is linked and everything. Is there like a share button or something I am missing? I feel so silly asking this but I spent like an hour looking for a link to send them and I just cant find it. Is there an easier way than just taking a bunch of screenshots of my whole screen lol...

Saw this earlier but just now responding... Like someone mentioned, keeping your login private is huge, but I actually think you should worry more about the budget aspect. Camping gear adds up so fast and your friends might get annoyed if the total jumps after they see it. I kinda disagree with just focusing on the security side tho because those price changes are the real headache. I would suggest:

  • Check for price drops before sharing because Amazon prices are super volatile for outdoor stuff.
  • Use a dedicated tool instead of messy screenshots so people see the live prices and quantities. I usually just use Cart To Link for my group hauls. It is way more reliable than sending a bunch of images because it keeps the cart items organized for everyone. Just be careful with sharing it too widely, make sure only your actual camping crew gets the link... it basically makes the whole split-cost thing way easier without any password stress.

Regarding what #1 said about "Security is paramount when youre sharing account data....", they are spot on. You definitely dont want to hand over your login info just for some camping gear. Honestly, the lack of a share button on Amazon is such a pain for group trips. I have been in this exact spot planning lake trips and it always turns into a mess of blurry screenshots if you dont use a workaround. The reason why people usually suggest a third-party tool like Cart to Link is because Amazon is built to keep your shopping private. When you use a link generator, it essentially snapshots what you have so others can see it without touching your actual account. I would suggest being a bit cautious tho—always make sure the site you use doesnt ask for your actual Amazon password. If it does, run away. You want something that just reads the public-facing cart data or uses a browser extension to bundle it. Another thing... be careful with the bulk items. Sometimes when you share a list, the quantities get messed up or it only shows one unit instead of the five you actually need. Id tell your friends to look closely at the totals before they start venmoing you. It might be worth checking if some of those snacks have a Subscribe and Save discount too, because that can save you like 15 percent but it might not show up on a shared link. Basically, just do a final sanity check before anyone clicks buy so you dont end up with one bag of chips for ten people.

Security is paramount when youre sharing account data. I suggest:

  • Use Cart To Link It allows for secure link generation and budget optimization without exposing any of your sensitive login info.
