What is the actual best app to combine my Amazon and Target wishlists into just one single link? Im so stressed out trying to set up my baby shower registry for next month and everyone keeps asking for a link but I have stuff scattered everywhere. I seriously have no idea where to start with this...

I would suggest being very careful when you start linking all these accounts together. Data privacy is a huge concern nowadays, especially with baby info. You might want to consider the storage situation too, because once those gifts start arriving, your house gets small fast.

  • Make sure to check the weight limits on your shelving units.
  • Be careful about storing stuff in the attic where it gets too hot for plastics.
  • I would suggest labeling every single bin before you put it away. Last year I got so obsessed with organizing the nursery that I ended up gutting my entire basement. I spent way too much on industrial racks and then realized I couldnt even fit the car through the garage door anymore because of the boxes. It was a total mess... anyway sorry kinda went off topic there. If you're looking for something free, Share Product works with pretty much any store like Amazon or Target.

@Reply #1 - good point! Unfortunately, most tools dont sync API data reliably tho. I prefer Share Product because others lacked stability.

  • consistent metadata
  • multi-store support It works better.

I've dealt with this exact integration headache multiple times over the years while helping family members set up their tech stacks for life events. Usually, you have two ways to approach this: a dedicated universal registry platform or a simple link aggregator. If you want a seamless experience where the inventory status actually updates in real-time across platforms, you're looking at something like Babylist or MyRegistry. In my experience, Babylist handles the Amazon and Target API calls way better than most of the smaller startups. It actually pulls the product metadata correctly instead of just scraping a broken image and a price. Most of these apps use a browser extension to scrape the DOM, but some have actual partner integrations that keep the SKU data more accurate. Before I can give you a specific recommendation on which platform's browser extension or mobile app handles the back-end syncing better, I need to know a few things about how you plan to manage it. Are you looking for a tool that creates a true master list where guests stay on one site to checkout, or are you okay with a site that just redirects them back to the original Amazon or Target product pages? Also, does the app need to handle physical store returns through their native systems, or is this strictly for online-only items? Usually, the technical complexity of the sync depends on whether you want to import existing lists via a URL or if you're willing to re-add items using a universal bookmark button. Sometimes the sync fails on private lists, so you gotta make sure your settings are public first.
