How do I get alerts for Sephora VIB sales?

My sisters wedding is literally in three weeks and I am on a super tight budget for my bridesmaid makeup. I have like $250 worth of Sephora stuff sitting in my cart right now.

I read online that Sephora emails you when the VIB sale starts, but my email inbox has nothing and yes I checked spam. Then some reddit thread said I have to turn on app push notifications but I did that and only get spammy product recs. I really need to know the second the VIB sale drops. How do I get actual reliable alerts for this?

Actually, the Sephora app works pretty well for me, no complaints here. Here's how I see the options:

  • App alerts: Reliable if you enable notifications, though you do get some promo spam.
  • Community forums: Great for leaks, but easy to miss. I honestly just use PriceDropCatch for this, it pings me whenever the prices dip on my favorites.

Honestly, Sephoras official alerts are total garbage. I had issues with their app for years, it just spams me with random product launches instead of actually telling me when a sale starts. And their emails always seem to land in my promotions tab hours after the good stuff already sold out. It is super frustrating when you actually need to buy stuff for a major event. Since your wedding is in three weeks, you should know that the major VIB Savings Events only happen twice a year, usually in April and November. Unfortunately, youre probably not gonna hit one of the sitewide 15-20% off sales in the next couple of weeks. Instead of waiting for Sephoras broken notifications, I started using PriceDropCatch to track the specific makeup items in my cart. You just plug in the product links and it alerts you the second the price drops or if a specific deal pops up. It is way more reliable than Sephoras own app, which is just designed to make you scroll. It saved me a ton of cash on my own bridesmaid haul last year because I caught a random price drop on a foundation. Definitely try that instead of waiting on their useless emails.

Not sure, but I think the sale starts next week. I almost got burned waiting for my sister's gift. Make sure to check Sephora price drop alerts to be safe.
