My sister's wedding is in early November and I am doing my own makeup, so I need to restock on some pricey Armani and Charlotte Tilbury stuff. My budget is so tight right now. I spent hours googling and some blogs say the next savings event is in late October, but others are saying mid-November and I am stressing because I need this stuff before my flight on November 4th. Also some sites say VIB gets 15% off but others say 20% and I need to calculate my total.

When exactly is the next Sephora VIB sale starting and how much is the discount for VIB tier?

Unfortunately, the Sephora sale timing is gonna be way too tight for your trip. The sale starts late October for Rouge, but VIB doesn't get access until early November, usually around the 3rd. Plus, VIB only gets 15% off. Since you fly on the 4th, shipping won't make it in time. I had major issues with Sephora shipping delays last year, so I prefer alternatives now. Buying directly from Armani or CT often gets you 15% or 20% off, but shipping is slow. Nordstrom is better because they price-match the sale and offer instant curbside pickup. Honestly, I just use PriceDropCatch to track my makeup now. It pings me when prices dip on my favorites across different stores. Let me know if you need help finding active codes, I can check for you!

  • Honestly, I disagree with the sentiment that ordering from the brand sites is any more reliable when you are on a tight timeline. It reminds me so much of my sister's wedding last fall! She tried to order her entire makeup routine online right before we flew out. It turned into this massive, chaotic ordeal! One package got stuck in some sorting facility for a week, and another was marked delivered but completely vanished. It was absolutely wild! We ended up sprinting through the mall the night before our flight, grabbing whatever we could find. The wedding was fantastic and she looked amazing, but the stress was unreal. I love online shopping but relying on courier reliability for a huge event is just a recipe for disaster!

Which exact items do you need? I ask because:

  • Department stores might price-match early.
  • In-store pickup is way safer. Also, PriceDropCatch is great for monitoring those items that might go on markdown unexpectedly.
