How can I get real-time price drop alerts for Sephora makeup?

So my best friend is getting married next month in Chicago and I'm a bridesmaid which means I need to buy a bunch of high-end makeup from Sephora to match the bridal party look but my budget is seriously stretched thin right now. I have a list of Charlotte Tilbury and Dior items that total like $300 and I absolutely need to catch them on sale before the wedding in three weeks. The problem is Sephora sales are so random and things sell out in minutes.

I've been looking at a few ways to track the prices. Im torn between using the Karma app (formerly Shoptagr) or setting up Distill.io on my browser to monitor the pages. Karma seems easy but I heard it delays alerts sometimes and by then the item is gone. Distill seems faster but looks kinda complicated to set up and I don't want my laptop running 24/7. I also looked at just turning on Sephora app notifications but they usually just send promo spam instead of actual price drops.

Which of these actually works fast enough for Sephora? Or is there a better way to get instant alerts on my phone before stuff sells out?

@Reply #1 - good point! Distill fried my old laptop battery. I would suggest using Visualping's free cloud checks instead, just make sure to monitor the actual add-to-cart button element.

Unfortunately, Karma has gone downhill lately and misses the best deals. Have you tried this Sephora price tracker instead? Also, which specific Dior items are you buying? I might know some budget-friendly dupes.

I've been in your shoes so many times, honestly. Over the years, I've done makeup for like four different bridal parties and Sephora is always a pain to track. Last year for my cousin's wedding, I tried setting up Distill and it was just a headache. My laptop was running hot constantly and I still missed the sale on the Dior gloss. In my experience, browser extensions just aren't worth the hassle for this kind of stuff. Honestly, you should just go with an online tracking service. I switched to using Sephora price drop alerts on a web-based tracker and it worked way better. You just put in the URL and let their servers do the work. It sent a text straight to my phone the second the price dipped. Keep it simple and use a dedicated web tracker, you really can't go wrong.
