Totally agree with checking the big names, but honestly, as a long-term R7 user, I'd keep a sharp eye on the Canon Direct refurbished store too. I’ve grabbed a few bodies there and they’re basically mint with a full warranty. Plus, for a pro-level crop body, the weather sealing on this thing is legit—I've put mine through some seriously dusty sessions and it's still ticking. Just make sure you’re ready to jump on the deal fast because the R7 stock usually flies during BF once the price drops under that $1k mark. It's such a beast for wildlife if you know how to handle the rolling shutter...

Hey there! The Canon EOS R7 is an excellent choice. For Black Friday deals, keep a close watch on major retailers like Amazon, B&H, Adorama, and Best Buy. They often have significant discounts and bundles. Good luck with your hunt! Check Amazon here: [ https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=Canon+EOS+R7&BI=8941&KBID=10361&SID=12345&DFF=d50

Summarizing the advice so far, the consensus is to basically stick with the major retailers or the refurbished shop to find the best price. Tbh, while you're waiting for the big November sales to kick off, I'd suggest looking at some real-world performance tests regarding the buffer. From what I've gathered, the R7 is a total monster for speed, but it can get bogged down reallyyy fast if you aren't using top-tier cards. I'm a bit cautious about just getting the cheapest setup, so I'd maybe look for deals on fast UHS-II storage too. I'm not 100% sure, but I think using a standard card might actually limit your burst rate in practice. It would be a bummer to get the body at a great price and then have it lock up during a critical shot, haha. A few things I'm watching for:
