I'm heading to Yellowstone in six days and still havent picked a lens for my R7! Budget is under $800.

Torn between the light RF 100-400 or a used Sigma 150-600 with an adapter for more reach. Which one is gonna be sharper for distant bears on a crop sensor??

Unfortunately the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary had major focus issues on my R7. It wasnt as good as expected. Just grab the Canon RF 100-400mm f/5.6-8 IS USM.

Totally agree about the Sigma, the focus pulsing is a nightmare. Ive been super satisfied sticking to native RF glass on my R7.
