I really need help because I'm trying to send my sister a list of baby shower gifts from Amazon but I have like 15 things in my cart and no way to share them. My logic was that I could just copy the web address at the top but that didn't work... it just showed her empty cart.

Someone mentioned using a cart extension but I have no idea where to even find those or how they work. I'm totally lost and the party is this Saturday so I'm in a huge rush. Is there a simple one for beginners? Sorry if this is a basic question I just cant figure it out...

Just go with Share-A-Cart, you really cant go wrong with it for this stuff. Its the most reliable tool I have used for sharing Amazon lists quickly. You just install it and it gives you a simple link to send your sister. Definitely a lifesaver when you are in a rush and dont want to deal with registries.

^ This. Also, unfortunately, Amazon lacks a native architecture to facilitate direct session sharing between users. Most browser-based solutions rely on scraping the Document Object Model (DOM) to extract Product IDs (ASINs) and quantities from session cookies. I have found that generic tools are often not as good as expected because they fail to capture specific configurations like size or color. If you need a reliable method, you should use a dedicated share Amazon shopping cart extension. Look for these features:

  • Support for multi-regional Amazon domains
  • Automated ASIN extraction
  • One-click cart injection for the recipient Most people overlook the fact that these tools basically repackage your cart data into a temporary database entry. It's far more efficient than manual entry for a 15-item cart. Tbh, manual lists are just inefficient... they dont handle the metadata well.

Like someone mentioned, its best to just find a free tool that doesnt overcomplicate things. Most of these extensions are basically one-click deals. Just install it, hit the button while your cart is open, and it generates a simple code or link. Its much faster than making a new registry when you are in a rush. Found this extension called Cart To Link recently and its been a lifesaver for group buys with my friends.
