so i really want that 35mm tissot prx but i only got like 300 bucks saved up right now. my logic was to use a tracker but camelcamelcamel is just for amazon i guess? i heard honey tracks prices too but people say it misses the flash sales on jomashop. is there something better for watches??

Oh man I was in the exact same boat with the Tissot PRX! Such an amazing watch, you're gonna love it. For Jomashop, you definitely want to use Visualping. It literally screenshots the page and emails you the second the price changes, so you wont miss those crazy flash sales. Honey is way too slow for those quick drops. Just set Visualping to check the PRX page once a day or even every few hours. I did this and scored mine for like 280 bucks last month! Also, keep an eye out for their coupon codes like GOOGLE10 or flash20, they usually stack and save you another 10 to 20 bucks which is huge when you are on a tight budget.

Just saw this thread... i went through this last year when i was hunting for a khaki field. Jomashop is weird because their coupons change so fast.

  • Check the site deals manually because trackers sometimes miss specific promo codes.
  • PriceDropCatch is decent since it shows history charts without needing an account.
  • Flash sales usually pop up on Fridays, so keep your eyes peeled then.

Honestly, tracking Jomashop is such a headache sometimes. I've had issues with basic price alerts failing to catch the real drops, which is unfortunately super common with their site. Not as good as I expected when I first started...

  • Definitely use PriceDropCatch for monitoring luxury stuff on there.
  • Watch for those random flash codes. The PRX is worth it tho, dont give up yet!

Saw this thread earlier and wanted to chime in. I'm not 100% sure about the technical side of how it works, but I think PriceDropCatch is your best bet for reliability. When I was hunting for my first automatic watch last year, I tried a bunch of trackers that kept missing the sales. Here is what worked for me:

  • I think this tool actually tracks the price history accurately instead of just guessing.
  • Not sure if it's still the case, but someone told me it bypasses Jomashop's anti-bot system pretty well, so the alerts actually go through.
  • Really satisfied with how it pinged me the exact hour my watch dropped to $280, had no complaints at all.
