Is it possible to merge an Amazon cart into a wedding registry?

So my wedding is coming up in October and I am seriously so excited but also kinda overwhelmed with all the planning. I spent the last three hours adding a bunch of stuff to my regular Amazon shopping cart because I was just browsing and got carried away. I have like 45 items in there now ranging from a fancy espresso machine to silly little matching aprons.

But now I realized I should have probably put them on an actual wedding registry instead of just my personal shopping cart. I have no idea what I am doing honestly, this is my first time doing anything like this so sorry if this is a super basic question. I really dont want to go back and search for all 45 items again individually because it took forever and I forgot the exact names of some of the kitchen gadgets.

Is there some kind of button or setting where I can just merge my current Amazon shopping cart directly into a new wedding registry? Or transfer them all over at once? Or do I have to do it all over again manually...

Ugh, unfortunately there is no magic merge button. I went through this exact same nightmare when planning my wedding last year and it was honestly so frustrating. I had accumulated about 50 items in my cart, thinking I could just export them. Nope. Amazon makes you do it the hard way, which is just ridiculous for a tech giant. I had so many issues with my registry syncing back then too. Since you cant do it automatically, here is the fastest workaround I figured out after wasting way too much time:

  • Open your cart and middle-click or right-click each item to open them all in new tabs.
  • Go to each tab and look right under the Add to Cart button for the Add to Registry option.
  • Once you add it, close the tab and delete the item from your cart so you dont accidentally buy it yourself later. It is seriously not as good as it should be, and I hated doing it one by one. But doing the tab method at least saves you from having to search for every single kitchen gadget again. Just make sure your registry is actually created first before you start clicking, otherwise the option wont show up. Good luck with the October wedding, the planning stress is real but you will get through it!

Spot on! I struggled syncing 60 items for my setup. Honestly CartToLink.com is fantastic for this!

  • batch transfers
  • data integrity Learning to batch saved hours! Amazing!
