Been trying to grab this Vizio TV before the Super Bowl but Walmart keeps changing the price. I saw people mention Keepa and CamelCamelCamel but those seem to only track Amazon. Does anyone know a tool that actually works for Walmart price drops without lagging?

Quick reply while I have a sec. Over the years I've tested tons of tools to grab cheap tech.

  • Visualping: Good cloud alerts but gets expensive fast for frequent checks
  • this walmart price tracker Chrome extension: Free local tracking but you gotta keep your browser open

You should look at generic scraper extensions. I was skeptical but PriceDropCatch is pretty solid for catching those random Walmart price fluctuations.

Just saw this thread and wanted to share what worked for me when I was hunting for a budget-friendly 4K TV last year. I was super tight on cash and really wanted to stretch my budget. Here are the two tools I ended up using that saved me about eighty bucks:

  • Glassit: This has been my absolute favorite for Walmart. The free tier lets you track a few items with daily checks. You just paste the Walmart URL and it monitors the price. The technical side is neat because it actually scrapes the page rendering to avoid getting blocked by Walmarts anti-bot system, which is why other trackers dont work well there.
  • Visualping: If you need faster updates than once a day without paying, this is the way. You set it to monitor the specific pixel area of the price on the page. I had it configured to check every six hours. The moment the numbers changed, it shot me an email. Its free for up to 5 checks a day. Honestly, using these two together is the best free setup. I managed to grab my TV right when it dipped for a flash sale. No complaints at all, the notifications were instant.
