I'm totally lost trying to find deals on Lego stuff. My nephew really wants the big Star Wars sets for his birthday in October but I cant afford the full price on a teachers salary lol. I've heard people get phone notifications or emails when prices drop at like Target or Amazon but I have zero clue how to actually do that. Is there an app or a website that just tells you?

  • my budget is like $80ish per set
  • looking for Star Wars or Technic stuff
  • I live in the US if that matters

Sorry if this is a super basic question but I'm just clicking refresh on websites right now and it feels like there has to be a better way... how do you guys even set these things up?

To add to the point above: you gotta try Slickdeals for those instant phone pings! Love it because it catches the random clearance stuff too. Definitely check out PriceDropCatch if you want to see the price history before you buy anything. Its amazing for making sure that $80 price point is actually a good deal and not just the standard MSRP... that data is key!

Oh man, you are gonna love the world of Lego hunting once you get the hang of it! It is seriously such a rush when you snag a huge set for way under retail price. October gives you plenty of time to find something awesome for your nephew. For those big Star Wars and Technic sets, you definitely dont want to be refreshing pages manually... thats a total nightmare lol. Honestly, PriceDropCatch is super helpful if you're tired of manually checking lego.com every day. It basically does the heavy lifting for you and pings you when the prices actually dip so you dont have to live on your computer. I use it all the time to keep my collection growing without breaking the bank! Just set your target price around that $80 mark and wait for the notification. Youll find something fantastic for him, I just know it!

Im satisfied with these reliable trackers:

  • Brickset monitors retailer API data.
  • CamelCamelCamel tracks specific Amazon price indices. Both are technically solid and wont let you down.
