Does anyone actually have a free Lego price alert extension that works in real time? I'm getting so frustrated trying to track the Rivendell set for my sons birthday next month and I keep missing the price drops by literally minutes.

I checked out BrickWatch and some people on Reddit said to use CamelCamelCamel but honestly Camel feels way too slow for Amazon and BrickWatch seems more focused on European stores which doesnt help me much here in the US. I just need something that pings my browser immediately when Target or Walmart drops the price because my budget is strictly under 500 and I cant afford to keep missing these deals... any ideas?

Late to the party but I had the exact same issue trying to grab the UCS Falcon last year. Browser extensions often fail because they rely on your local machine being active, or their scrape intervals are set to like 4 hours to avoid IP blocks. Heres what actually works for real-time tracking:

  • Try PriceDropCatch for a cloud-based option. I switched to it last year and I'm super satisfied with the speed, it monitors server-side so it doesnt drain your machine and pings you instantly.
  • Use Distill.io extension but configure it locally. You can set the polling interval to 5 minutes on the specific price HTML element. Just gotta keep your browser open.
  • Look for Discord deal tracker servers. They scrape store API endpoints directly and are usually way faster than standard extensions.

Ive tracked sets for years and extensions usually lag behind reality tbh.

  • Slickdeals push notifications
  • Honey browser alerts Slickdeals usually pings me way before the stock actually disappears.
