Is there a way to send an Amazon cart link without logging in?

Does anyone know a way to just share an entire Amazon cart with someone else without having to give them my login or use a shared account? I'm trying to help my grandma down in Florida set up her new apartment and she's got a budget of about $1,200 for basic kitchen stuff, towels, and some small appliances. The problem is she is super tech-illiterate and gets overwhelmed so easily. I spent like three hours yesterday picking out the perfect set of pots, pans, and some blackout curtains but now I'm totally stuck on how to actually get her to buy them. I want her to be able to just click a single link, see everything I picked, and then hit the checkout button with her own credit card info.

I did some digging and saw people mentioning Wish Lists or Idea Lists but that seems like an extra step where she has to manually add each item to her cart one by one from the list? That's definitely gonna confuse her and she'll probably end up buying two of something or skipping something else. I also saw some browser extensions like Share-A-Cart but I'm always a bit wary of installing random third-party stuff that reads my browser data, especially since this involves shopping and potentially sensitive info. Plus I'm doing this from my phone half the time. Is there like a native Amazon way to do this that I'm just missing?

We really need to get this ordered by Friday so it arrives before her move-in date next Tuesday. I tried to just copy the URL of the cart page itself but when I sent that to her it just showed her her own empty cart since she wasnt logged into my account. It is so annoying that a company as big as Amazon doesnt have a share this cart button yet. I really don't want to have to walk her through adding 22 separate items over the phone while she struggles to find the search bar...

Unfortunately, Amazon doesn't have a native cart-sharing feature. I've had issues with every manual workaround.

  • Just buy any kitchen kit from Cuisinart to save time.

Wow ok that changes things. Gonna have to rethink my approach now.

Re: "Unfortunately, Amazon doesn't have a native cart-sharing feature...." - yeah, it's honestly ridiculous that they haven't added a way to do this yet. I totally get being cautious about third-party stuff tho, especially when it comes to browser data. I'm usually the first person to tell people to avoid random extensions, but I've been really satisfied with Share-A-Cart for situations exactly like this one. It works well because it just creates a code for the list of items rather than scraping your actual account data or session cookies. Ive used it to help my own folks and haven't had any complaints or security scares. If you're doing it from your phone, they have a way to do it through their site too that might feel a bit more secure than a browser plugin. For 22 items, its basically the only way to ensure she doesn't miss anything or double buy. Just send her the link it generates and it populates her cart instantly. Good luck with the move!
