im trying to get a new samsung tv for my living room because mine just broke and ive got about 400 bucks saved up for it. i keep checking the walmart site every day but the price goes up and down and i have no idea if im getting a good deal or not. my cousin told me about that camel website but that only works for amazon and i really prefer shopping at the walmart down the street so i can just pick it up myself. sorry if this is a really dumb question i just dont know where to start looking for this stuff. is there a website or something that tracks walmart prices like that?

ive been doing this for years and manual checking is basically just a waste of energy. when i was piecing together my current setup, i used capital one shopping to track things cuz walmart is notorious for fake rollbacks. over the years ive found that having that history is huge. i learned to just set an alert and walk away... ended up saving fifty bucks because i caught a random tuesday morning price drop.

Jumping in here to totally agree about the price swings. Walmart is honestly the worst for that... one day it is 450 and the next it is 380, then back up before you can even grab your keys. In my experience, you really need a history graph to see if they are actually giving you a discount or just pretending. I've been using PriceDropCatch for a while now to keep an eye on some TV prices, and it’s actually saved me quite a bit when the rollbacks hit. It shows you the price floor so you know when to pounce. Just a heads up tho, double check the specific model number because sometimes those Walmart special Samsungs have fewer HDMI ports than the ones at other stores. It is a sneaky way they keep the price down.
