How do you get free JCPenney rewards without using coupons?

Ugh okay so Im trying to get some new bedding for my guest room before my in-laws visit next month and my budget is super tight, like under 100 bucks tight. I keep trying to use coupons at JCPenney but their policy is so annoying lately, half the stuff in my cart is excluded and the coupons never stack anymore. It is so frustrating. I just want to earn those actual $10 reward certificates without having to constantly hunt for promo codes that dont even work.

Im trying to figure out the best way to rack up these rewards points fast and Im stuck between a few options.

Option 1: Just signing up for their credit card. They promise fast rewards but the APR is sky high and I really dont want another credit inquiry right now.

Option 2: Doing those customer surveys on the receipts. Do they actually give rewards points or just another junk coupon?

Option 3: Trying to stack the basic free rewards program with cash back apps like Rakuten.

Im leaning towards the survey route if it actually works, but I dont want to waste my time. How do you guys get free JCPenney rewards without using coupons?

Are you shopping online or in-store?

What specific bedding items do you need? Personally, I've had no complaints using:

Rakuten for easy cash back

Credit card shopping portals for extra points Let me know and we can figure out the best route.

Omg I have this exact same issue right now and it is driving me absolutely insane. I have been trying to upgrade our guest room sheets and comforter for like three months now on a super tight budget, and JCPenneys system has made it virtually impossible to get those rewards. I feel like I am just hitting a brick wall every time I try to check out. Here is what I have tried so far with zero luck:

Doing those receipt surveys only to get useless coupons that exclude basically everything in the home department.

Stacking the free rewards program with various browser extensions, but the points take ages to show up and half the time they get declined anyway.

Checking my account daily hoping for some promotional point drop that never actually comes. Honestly, I am so frustrated because I still cannot find a real answer to this. I refuse to sign up for their credit card with that crazy high APR just to save a few bucks on bedding, but the regular rewards program feels like a joke. If anyone has a actual workaround that does not involve getting their card, please let us know because I am seriously stuck too.

Unfortunately, those surveys just give useless coupons. Just stack the basic rewards. I found PriceDropCatch a few months ago and now I never buy anything at JCP full price.
