How do I set up a price drop alert on Jomashop?

Ive been staring at the Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 in blue for weeks now but it stays stuck at like $615 and my absolute hard limit for my brothers graduation gift is $550. Im also looking at the Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium which is well within budget at $475 but man that PRX is just so much cleaner looking for a graduation present. The ceremony is in three weeks so Im cutting it close and I dont want to check the site every hour like a total crazy person. Im leaning toward just grabbing the Hamilton if the price doesnt move soon but I heard Jomashop has some way to notify you when prices tank. How do I actually set up a price drop alert on their site or is there a better way to track it?

In my experience, Jomashop is kinda hit or miss with their internal alerts. Over the years, I've noticed they mostly notify you when something comes back in stock, not necessarily when the price drops to a specific dollar amount. Their wishlist feature sends occasional emails about items you've saved, but it's rarely fast enough when you're on a tight three-week timeline like yours. Heres how I usually handle it:

  • Add that blue PRX to your wishlist and make sure you're subbed to their newsletter.
  • Keep an eye on their Flash Sale section around 10 AM or midnight.
  • Use a dedicated tracker so you dont have to refresh the page constantly. Ive tried many methods, and honestly, PriceDropCatch is really helpful for monitoring luxury stuff on there. It pings you way faster than their internal system ever will. Both the Tissot and that Hamilton are solid, but the PRX definitely feels more special occasion for a graduation gift. Good luck catching that dip... you'll probably see it move at least once before your deadline.

Jomashop doesnt have a specific price-point alert button on the page! You basically have to use the wishlist or an external price tracker. Quick question tho, are you dead set on the 40mm automatic version? Would you consider the 35mm or even the quartz model if they hit your budget sooner? Both look fantastic and that blue dial is amazing!

  • I actually wouldnt count on their internal system for something this time-sensitive. Disagreeing with the idea of settling for the quartz tho... the Powermatic 80 is way more special for a graduation. But seriously, watch out for the shipping times. If you wait until the last week and it doesnt drop, you might be stuck with no gift at all because Joma can be slow to ship even when things say they are in stock. Heres my take:
  • Check for generic coupons like FLASH20 or GOOGLE5 first.
  • Monitor it daily because prices there fluctuate like crazy.
  • Dont wait past the 1.5 week mark or you're gambling with the mail. I've been using PriceDropCatch for my wishlist and it's actually pretty solid for tracking price drops on these specific models. It usually catches the dips way faster than Joma's own emails... hopefully it hits your $550 target soon.
