I am honestly so fed up with trying to track Lego prices using BrickEconomy lately, it is driving me absolutely crazy. The UI is just so clunky on mobile and half the time the price history graph doesn't even load properly. I'm trying to plan my holiday budget since I really want to grab the retired UCS Imperial Shuttle and maybe the new Venator before December, but I keep missing the actual price drops because the data on there seems weeks out of date. It is so frustrating. I just want something clean and fast.

I am seriously ready to delete my account and switch to something else, anything else really. I have about 800 bucks set aside for this haul and I need to make every dollar count.

What is the best tool for tracking Lego price history that actually updates in real time and wont drive me insane?

Are you looking for US or global deals? I had issues with lag during my last haul.

  • Just use BrickLink Unfortunately, other options aren't as good as expected.

TL;DR: Use Brickfact. I switched to it last year when buying my UCS Falcon. It works really well, keeps data secure, and I honestly have no complaints about the price alerts.

I ended up setting up Keepa for Amazon price tracking and combined it with BrickLinks price guide for retired sets. Keepa is basically real-time and sends alerts to my phone instantly when Amazon drops prices, which is how I saved like 150 bucks on the Cantina. For retired stuff like that Imperial Shuttle though, BrickLink is still the gold standard for actual transaction history, even if the UI feels like it was built in 2004. It shows what people are actually paying, not just listing prices. Keepa has a free tier that works fine, but the paid version gets you the detailed interactive charts. Decent option depending on if you are buying new or used.
