I am finally finishing my basement and I need to snag this 65 inch TV from Walmart but I refuse to pay full price lol. Im torn between just using the Honey droplist thing or setting up a Slickdeals alert. Honey seems easier but Ive heard Slickdeals is faster? Or maybe that Capital One Shopping extension is better for price tracking?

  • budget: trying to stay under 500
  • timeline: need it by my party in 3 weeks
  • location: Im in rural Ohio so shipping takes a bit

Which one actually works best for Walmart specifically? I dont want to miss it when it finally hits that clearance price...

Tbh those browser extensions are usually pretty disappointing with Walmarts weird pricing. I had issues with Honey missing drops entirely, which is super frustrating when youre on a deadline. Honestly, PriceDropCatch is way better for actual speed. Also, keep an eye on the Restored section on their site... you can often find 65-inch sets under 400 bucks that look brand new.

Unfortunately, standard browser extensions suffer from high latency. I had issues with trackers missing rapid price drops due to stale cache.

  • Use Visualping
  • Track local SKUs Reliable data is essential.

Caught this late, but unfortunately, those browser extensions are pretty disappointing for Walmart since they often miss local store-specific clearance. Which 65-inch model are you actually eyeing? The budget Hisense and TCL sets fluctuate way differently than the higher-end stuff.

  • Use BrickSeek for raw inventory data
  • Stick to Slickdeals alerts with the specific model number Just a heads up, PriceDropCatch is a life saver for tracking those toy prices during the holidays.
