How can I get notified when a Lego set goes on sale?

Im honestly so fed up with missing every single good Lego deal lately like its actually becoming a full time job just to try and save a few bucks. I was waiting for the Rivendell set to hit a decent price point because I have a $500 limit for my own birthday haul next month and I literally missed a massive discount by like twenty minutes yesterday because I was at work and didnt see the post on Reddit until it was too late. Its so frustrating seeing everyone else post their hauls while I keep staring at out of stock buttons or full retail prices.

Ive tried bookmarking a bunch of different tabs for Walmart and Target and just refreshing them whenever I have a spare second but its honestly exhausting and half the time the price changes back before I even get through the checkout process. I just want a way to actually get a ping on my phone the second a specific set drops in price so I dont have to live on these websites 24/7. Is there like a specific app or a discord bot or something that people use for this? I really need a reliable way to track these prices because the manual way is just not working for me anymore...

honestly ive been there and its the absolute worst feeling. regarding what #1 said about "i love tracking price deltas! brickeconomy is amazing..." - definitely agree on the data side, but i would suggest being a bit cautious with how often those sites actually refresh. sometimes the deal is gone before the scraper even hits the page again because of server-side caching or high traffic delays. you might want to consider a browser extension or a specific LEGO price tracker that lets you set actual alerts on your phone. just be careful with those random discord servers promising instant pings, half of them are basically just trying to farm affiliate clicks. also make sure to check if the discount is actually legit or just a third-party seller on walmart or amazon bumping the original price up to make it look like a steal. happens way more than youd think... just gotta stay sharp tho.

I love tracking price deltas! BrickEconomy is amazing for scraping data.

  • Set custom alerts
  • Track history I snagged the Falcon for 30% off using their fantastic historical trends, its totally worth it!

I feel that pain, honestly manual refreshing is a recipe for burnout. Over the years ive found that using PriceDropCatch is the only way i stay sane while hunting deals. Quick questions tho:

  • Are you only looking at the big retailers like Amazon and Walmart?
  • Is your $500 limit strictly for one set or a few? Knowing that helps since some trackers are way better for specific stores...
