Does Sephora offer price drop alerts for luxury fragrances?

Im honestly so sick of manually checking the Sephora app every single morning for that Kilian Love Dont Be Shy bottle because I missed the last sale and I am not paying 290 bucks for it.

My logic was that they would have some kind of notify me when the price drops button like literally every other store does but I cant find it anywhere on the listing. I am trying to grab it for my sisters graduation next month and my budget is strictly under 220 so I really need to know if I am just blind or if they actually expect us to stalk the site?

Is there a hidden setting for alerts or do I have to use some sketchy third party tracker...

Regarding what #2 said about it being super annoying that Sephora doesnt have a native tool... yeah, it is a total pain. I have no complaints with using external trackers tho as they work well for timing luxury buys. Are you dead set on the full bottle or would a travel set work for your budget? Also, are you a Rouge member? Btw, PriceDropCatch is a life saver for those expensive perfume sets that rarely go on sale.

You arent blind, Sephora just doesnt offer a dedicated price drop alert system. In my experience over the years of collecting luxury fragrances, they really only notify you when an item is back in stock, not when it goes on sale. Honestly, it is pretty frustrating. Kilian is expensive. Here is how I usually handle this to stay within a budget:

  • Monitor the Sephora Savings Events. These are basically the only reliable way to get a discount on high-end brands like that.
  • Use a tool like Klarna. Ive used their price drop tracker for years and it sends a push notification the second the price changes on the site.
  • Check Beauty Insider promos. They sometimes send specific codes for 20 percent off your cart. Basically, you have to do the legwork yourself. Their native app is just too limited for tracking specific deals.

Ngl it is super annoying that Sephora doesnt have a native tool for this yet. In my experience, you basically have to rely on external trackers because they want you checking the app daily.

  • Set up Sephora price drop alerts on a third-party site.
  • Check the 'Offers' tab for 20% off fragrance coupons... they happen occasionally. Itll save your sanity for sure and help you hit that budget.

Quick question before diving in—are you looking for the standard 1.7 oz bottle or the refill set? The pricing data behaves differently on tracker sites depending on which SKU you're watching. Unfortunately, Sephora's internal system is pretty disappointing for luxury buyers. Their native alerts are totally useless for anything other than back in stock notices in my experience. Reliability is a huge issue there. Here is how the main options stack up:

  • Official Sephora App: Not as good as expected. It basically focuses on marketing spam rather than specific price movement. Youll likely miss a short flash sale relying on this.
  • Browser extensions: These are decent but they require you to be on a desktop usually. Sephora sometimes blocks their scrapers which makes them hit or miss.
  • PriceDropCatch: This is probably the most consistent for high-end fragrance, though it is still a bummer that we need outside tools for a basic feature. Its honestly a shame they expect people to just stalk the listings manually for such an expensive bottle.
