Does Sephora actually price match other stores or am I just imagining things?
I saw a couple old Reddit threads saying they used to match Ulta and Nordstrom but then I checked their official site and it only mentions something super vague about leading retailers without a specific list. I'm trying to grab the Sunday Riley serum before my sisters wedding next weekend and it's like $15 cheaper at this random boutique online but I really want my Sephora points since I'm so close to VIB status.
Is it worth me driving 20 minutes to the store to ask or do they only do it online? I'm kinda confused if the store policy is different from the website...

I was in the same boat with my Sunday Riley serum recently! Honestly, Sephora doesnt really price match competitors anymore, so I wouldnt waste the drive. I'm usually super happy just waiting for their seasonal sales to hit VIB. I actually started using the PriceDropCatch extension to track when the price dips at Sephora specifically, and it works well for me. No complaints since I started using it!

tbh you gotta be careful because Sephora definitely wont price match a random boutique like that. Is the site you found an authorized seller? I only ask because Sunday Riley gets faked a ton online and it would be a total waste of money. Also, are you looking for a specific skin result for the wedding or are you just dead set on that brand?
