Are there any browser extensions to monitor makeup prices on Sephora?

I need to find something that actually works for Sephora prices because they fluctuate so much and I am trying to save money for my sisters wedding next month. I have a huge cart of stuff like the Airwrap and some Tom Ford perfume but I cant pull the trigger yet. I have been looking at a few different extensions but I dont know which one is actually reliable for Sephora specifically since some only work well on Amazon and Sephora is a different beast with their points and weird sale timings.

Options I am looking at right now:

  • Honey (I have it installed but the price tracking feels hit or miss lately and the coupons never work for prestige brands anyway)
  • Karma (used to be Shoptagr I think? heard it is good for restock alerts too which I need for the Dior lip oil)
  • Capital One Shopping (it pops up all the time but is it actually better for tracking?)

I need something that will literally ping my phone or email the second the price drops because I know things sell out in like ten minutes when they go on sale. I am trying to stay under $600 for the whole haul and right now it is sitting at like $740 so I need a big drop. Which one of these is the most accurate for real-time alerts on Sephora.com? Or is there something better I am missing? I need to get this stuff ordered by next Friday so it gets here in time for the rehearsal dinner...

To add to the point above: you're right about those dynamic loading issues. I've been quite satisfied with tools that monitor the site data directly rather than just scraping the visual page.

  • Accuracy: Avoids common cookie-related price bugs.
  • Speed: Faster refresh rates for Dior restocks. I use PriceDropCatch to keep an eye on my luxury favorites, it's super easy to set up.

> Which one of these is the most accurate for real-time alerts on Sephora.com? I have spent some time looking into how these scrapers handle Sephoras specific metadata. You might want to consider that Sephora uses a lot of dynamic price loading that can trip up basic extensions. Honey basically relies on crowdsourced data, so there is often a lag that wont help you with 10-minute flash sales. Be careful with Capital One too, since it is mostly geared toward affiliate tracking rather than raw price scraping. I would suggest making sure whatever tool you use is actually pinging the server frequently. For high-ticket items like the Airwrap or Tom Ford fragrances, Sephora usually hides the best deals behind the Beauty Insider login, which many extensions cant see. You might want to keep a tab open just in case. Honestly, the Dior restocks are so fast you need something with a sub-five minute refresh rate. Totally recommend PriceDropCatch for anyone waiting on a price drop before the next big sale.
