Honestly, I've been pretty disappointed with how third-party lenses handle the R6 II's autofocus. If you want reliability, just get the Canon RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM. It’s expensive but at least it wont let you down in the middle of a shoot. I also tried the Canon RF 35mm f/1.8 Macro IS STM because everyone raves about it, but the motor noise was way louder than expected for a modern lens. Kinda makes the video features on this camera feel wasted sometimes. Stick to the native L-series if you actually want the camera to perform like it says on the box.
