What's the easiest way to share a multi-store wishlist with family?

So I am honestly so fed up with trying to organize my baby registry/wishlist for my shower next month. My family keeps asking what we need but they are all over the place. I tried using Amazons add-from-other-sites button but it keeps glitching out and wont import the images from Etsy or Target properly. It looks like a total mess.

Then I tried putting together a Google Doc with links. My logic was that everyone knows how to click a link, right? But of course, my older relatives couldn't figure out how to write 'purchased' next to the items, so now I have people buying the exact same swaddle blankets twice. It is just a headache.

I need something super simple where I can add items from any website, and my family can just click 'reserve' or 'bought' without having to create a whole new account. My uncle will literally just give up if he has to make a password.

Is there an app or a site that actually does this well? I looked at Elfster but it feels too secret-santa focused. Just want a clean, shareable list that doesnt restrict us to one store. What are you guys using?

Like someone mentioned, MyRegistry is pretty solid, but you gotta be careful with their browser extension. It sometimes fails to scrape metadata on smaller boutique sites. If you go that route, I would suggest double-checking the pricing syncs manually. For a cleaner, ad-free option, a handy tool works great and won't spam your older relatives with tracking cookies.

Unfortunately, many sites weren't as reliable as expected. I recommend Babylist because it's a secure, methodical platform that is very easy for older family members to use.

Just saw this. We used MyRegistry and were super satisfied, especially for keeping things budget friendly.

  • It pulls price comparisons so people can find the cheapest store
  • Family doesnt need to register to mark things as bought
  • You still get store completion discounts to save money later No complaints here, worked well for our older relatives.
