So I just got this new job helping set up a brand new daycare center here in Seattle and I am so stoked! Ive been spending like all morning adding stuff to the cart. We need so much stuff:

  • tiny plastic chairs
  • giant boxes of wipes
  • safety gates
  • craft supplies

The budget is about $3,000 and I have to show my boss exactly what Im planning to buy by Friday morning so she can approve the spending. Ive got like 45 items in my Amazon Business cart right now and Im really worried Im gonna have to type every single one of them into a spreadsheet manually. That would take forever and Im sure Id make a mistake with the prices or the links.

Im totally new to using the business side of Amazon, usually I just buy stuff for myself and click checkout lol. Is there like a button or a secret way to just poof send the whole cart into Excel or a CSV file? Ive been clicking around for like twenty minutes and I feel so silly because I cant find anything that looks like a download button. Sorry if this is a super basic question but Im really stuck here and dont want to spend my whole night typing out product names... how do I actually get my cart list into Excel?

Amazon doesnt have a built-in button for this, which is super annoying. I use Share-A-Cart when I need to export my cart for work approvals. It is a simple browser extension that lets you grab the whole list. It is pretty reliable and safe in my experience, though you should always double-check the final export. Still beats typing 45 items by hand.

Just saw this. Having managed purchasing for years, I deal with this constantly. Amazon lacks a direct export button, so here are the methods I use:

  • Share-A-Cart: This is a browser extension that downloads your cart to CSV in one click. It pulls prices and links perfectly, and I have no complaints. It works well for quick approvals.
  • Manual Copy-Paste: You can select the cart page text, paste to Excel, and clean it up. It is free but requires a lot of formatting.
  • Wish List Transfer: Move items to a public Wish List and use a third-party list exporter. This takes extra steps but avoids installing extensions. For a quick turnaround by Friday, the extension is your best bet.
