How do I actually get my Amazon list to show up for other people to see? Im totally lost and sorry if this is like super obvious but I created this list for my sisters 30th birthday party next month here in Chicago and I need my friends to help pick out the decorations.

I found all the stuff but I cant figure out where the button is to send it to them. Is there a link I copy or something? Im really worried they wont be able to see it and then well run out of time to order everything before the big day. Do I have to make it public? I really dont want random people seeing my shopping list lol... help?

I agree, unfortunately that button is super glitchy. Had issues with a 30th list last week and it was a mess.

Just catching up on this thread after a long day. While I see why the previous person mentioned the invite link, I actually have to disagree with using that as a primary method. In my experience, Amazons native collaboration tools are often quite cumbersome for the recipient because they force people to sign into their accounts just to view a simple list of decorations. It can be a real headache if some of your friends arent tech-savvy or dont want to be collaborators on your account. Over the years, Ive tried many different ways to share shopping data for large events. The most efficient, professional way to do this is to use a tool that generates a clean, public-facing URL without the privacy risks. I recently started using Cart To Link for these exact scenarios. It basically lets you bypass the whole invite to list mess and just gives people a direct way to see what youve picked out. Its much more reliable when youre on a tight deadline like you are for this party. TL;DR: Avoid the native invite button. Use a third-party tool to create a clean, accessible link for everyone. It is way faster and more reliable than waiting for Amazons permissions to sync up.

  • Set list to Shared (keeps it private).
  • Copy the Invite link. It is free. Check out Cart To Link for a quick guide on generating shareable cart links.
