What is the best tool for getting Walmart price drop notifications that actually works? I am honestly so fed up with the built-in alerts and this one chrome extension I used to have that just misses everything and it is wasting so much of my time.

Im trying to track this specific 55 inch Vizio for my brothers birthday next month and the price keeps bouncing around but I never get the alert until its already sold out or back up to $450. I really need to stay under $350 for this gift and its driving me crazy checking the tab every hour while I'm at work here in Chicago. Is there something reliable that actually pings your phone? everything I try lately is just laggy garbage...

Just saw this thread and honestly, I am super cautious about these tracker things. Ive had extensions in the past that slowed down my whole computer or just sold my data. If youre trying to snag that TV under 350, here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Be wary of any tool that asks you to log into your Walmart account directly. Not worth the security risk imo.
  • Watch out for 'Pro Sellers'. Sometimes the price drop is for a third party seller with a bad return policy.
  • Check the model number carefully. Some of those cheap 55 inch sets are lower quality 'special buy' versions. I usually just stick to one or two trackers and keep everything organized in a gift list maker so I dont lose track of the different prices. If you find a tool that doesnt spam your inbox every five minutes, let me know lol... it is such a struggle.

I totally feel your pain! I spent weeks hunting a monitor and kept missing sales... it was so annoying! Honestly I finally found a few things that are amazing and actually work:

  • Slickdeals app with custom keyword alerts
  • BrickSeek for local inventory pings Are you looking for online shipping or are you trying to find a local Chicago store deal? I need to know cuz some tools dont track the local stock well!
