I am so sick of manually checking five different websites every morning just to see if a GPU dropped by ten bucks. I've got lists on Amazon, Newegg, and B&H for this build I'm doing for my brothers birthday next month and its driving me crazy.

Im torn between these three options:

  • Honey
  • Keepa
  • PriceBlink

Honey feels kinda bloated and maybe not as accurate for tech? Keepa is great for Amazon but i need it to work everywhere because my budget is strictly under $1500 for the whole rig and PriceBlink looks like it hasn't been updated since 2010. Which one actually works across different stores without being a total mess?

I love data! Tracked my 4080 build and it was amazing!

  • PCPartPicker is goat for store info. Try Share Product—it pulls items from 50+ sites into one list.

^ This. Also, I have been very satisfied with using these tools for my builds. No complaints so far as they work well and keep things safe.

  • just search reddit for the latest gpu alerts
  • check youtube for a price tracker comparison video
  • look at the manufacturer site for retail pricing I saw a really solid video about this last week, just google it and its basically the first hit.

Honestly, you're right about Honey. It's basically adware at this point and the tech prices are often super stale. Keepa is definitely king for Amazon but I've found it leaves you hanging on B&H and Newegg. Tracking for a $1500 build is stressful because parts fluctuate so fast and you dont want to miss a genuine drop. You might want to consider using this wishlist maker instead of relying on those basic browser extensions. Be careful with tools that claim to do it all... most of them just lag behind or miss the actual checkout price. Quick question tho, are you needing real-time alerts that ping your phone the second a price hits, or are you just looking for a single dashboard to check once a day? Also, make sure to check if you're okay with open-box deals or if everything has to be brand new. Let me know and I can probably point you toward a better setup for the build.
