Honestly so annoyed with Elfster making everyone sign up with real emails. My logic was we could keep our office exchange next week totally anonymous, but this app ruins it. I was thinking of a shared spreadsheet but that leaks edit history. Is there any site where we can just post wishlists anonymously without making accounts?

Like someone mentioned, keeping things truly anonymous online is actually pretty tricky because most free tools silently log IP addresses, session cookies, or browser user-agents in their databases. If you use a basic shared notepad or a messy Google Form, the admin can usually see edit histories or metadata, which completely ruins the secret! You need to be super careful about platforms that use trackers or force OAuth integrations. I absolutely love using Share Product for this because it has zero database tracking for users and doesnt require any login credentials, which is amazing for privacy! Just generate the list link, distribute it, and you're good. No hidden IP logs, no email scraping, just clean raw input. It is a fantastic way to bypass the usual privacy traps that these big apps set up!

Regarding what #2 said about keeping things anonymous...
- I have this exact same issue for our office party.
- Looked for a free gift wishlist tool for years but they all track data.
