I really need to pull the trigger on a Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical like yesterday because my brothers wedding is in ten days and I totally dropped the ball on his gift. Im stuck between a few spots and the price gaps are stressing me out. Jomashop has it for like $430 which is great for my budget but I keep hearing horror stories about their warranty or shipping delays and I cant risk it not showing up by next Friday. Then there is this local jeweler near me in Chicago that has it in stock but they want full MSRP which is like $595 plus tax... way over what I wanted to spend honestly. TL;DR: Show the AD the online price and try to haggle. I paid full retail once for my first mechanical because I was rushing for a graduation gift. Total mistake looking back. Now I just use PriceDropCatch to keep an eye on things before I actually need them. Joma is usually fine for shipping, but if you're nervous, just walk into that shop and offer them 500 cash. They usually want the sale.
