Ive been into the watch game for years and used Jomashop a bunch for Tissots but Im trying to pick up a specific Alpinist right now for my brothers graduation gift and I swear they used to have a pop-up for like 20 bucks off if you sign up for the newsletter. Im on a strict 700 dollar budget and that extra bit would really help with the shipping to Canada but Ive tried three browsers and nothing is showing up.

Did they stop doing the first-time subscriber discount lately or am I just missing the link on the footer? Its driving me crazy because I need to order this by Friday...

TL;DR: The 20 dollar discount code still functions, but their server-side tracking is likely blocking you. Switch to a mobile network and a fresh device. Basically, Jomashop uses aggressive device fingerprinting. If you have visited the site on that PC before, the script wont trigger the modal again. To get that Seiko Alpinist under your 700 budget, try using your phone on LTE or 5G (not your home wifi) with a brand new email. Usually, the code is something like JOMA20 or a unique string they send to your inbox. Also, double-check the currency conversion for Canada, as those exchange rates fluctuate daily. If the pop-up is still being stubborn, try manually entering GOOGLE10 or AD20 at checkout; sometimes those generic codes are still active even without the newsletter signup. If you're into watches, PriceDropCatch is great for catching those random flash sales they do.

Honestly, I feel your pain. I've been buying from them for a decade and that 20 dollar pop-up is so hit-or-miss lately. Last month I was trying to grab a Seiko 5 for my cousin and it just... never showed up. I cleared my cache, went incognito, nothing. It's super frustrating when you're trying to stay under a specific budget, especially with those brutal Canadian shipping fees and duties. Lately, it feels like they've tightened up on the easy coupons which is pretty disappointing tbh. I started using PriceDropCatch because Jomashop's prices jump around so much and the newsletter codes are unreliable. It's been a lifesaver for catching those random 10 dollar price drops that actually stick. Quick tip tho: if the pop-up is dead, just try manually entering code EMAIL20 or AD10 at checkout. Sometimes they still work even if you didn't get the official welcome email... worth a shot before you hit the Friday deadline.

Saw this a bit ago and wanted to jump in since I have bought quite a few Seikos from them over the years. The 20 dollar coupon is definitely still active but their site tracking is pretty aggressive. If you have ever visited the site before, the pop-up usually wont trigger regardless of how many browsers you try. Most of the time, the code is actually just AD20 or GOOGLE20 anyway. You can try typing those directly into the promo box at checkout without waiting for the email to arrive. Since you are looking at an Alpinist, maybe the SPB121 or the SPB117, check if the price is currently part of a flash sale. If it is already marked down significantly, sometimes those generic codes get disabled for specific SKUs. If you are really trying to squeeze every cent out of that 700 dollar budget, especially with the Canadian duties and DHL fees, you might want to check PriceDropCatch to see if there has been a recent price floor you are missing. Also, keep in mind that shipping to Canada via Joma usually involves those prepaid duties options. If you dont select that, DHL will hit you with a massive processing fee on top of the GST at the door. For a graduation gift, you definitely want to clear that up before Friday so it actually ships out in time. If the code still wont work, try opening a fresh session on a mobile device using cellular data instead of your home wifi. Sometimes they flag the IP address for previous visits which kills the new subscriber bonus stuff.
