Honestly, the native eBay watchlist is pretty useless for real-time tracking. I spent years hunting vintage divers and missed so many deals because the saved search emails arrive hours late. In my experience, you need something that pings the API directly instead of relying on their internal system. Trying different scripts and third-party tools over the years taught me that most either lag or cost a fortune tbh.
