honestly so fed up with checking my watchlist every hour just to see if the price moved. ebay doesnt send alerts and i keep missing deals on the omega seamaster i want.
any apps for this or am i stuck hitting refresh...
Honestly, the native eBay watchlist is pretty useless for real-time tracking. I spent years hunting vintage divers and missed so many deals because the saved search emails arrive hours late. In my experience, you need something that pings the API directly instead of relying on their internal system. Trying different scripts and third-party tools over the years taught me that most either lag or cost a fortune tbh. I eventually started using this eBay tracker because it is cheap and basically solved my fomo. It watches price fluctuations and sends a push notification almost instantly. For an Omega Seamaster, you really need that speed because the good ones get snapped up the second the seller drops the price even a little bit. It works fine on mobile too, which was my main requirement when I'm away from my desk... beats manual refreshing for sure.
i had a nightmare trying to track a vintage calatrava last year. i tried every instant app but most have a 15-minute lag cuz they want to save on api calls. be careful with anything that doesnt let you set a custom polling rate... i almost bought a frankenwatch because the metadata was wrong.
