Im trying to get supplies for my sons science fair project that is due Friday and I have about 300 dollars worth of stuff in my cart but I need my sister to pay for it since she has the company card. I really dont want to give her my password because my whole life is on that account. I looked online and saw stuff about Amazon Household but that sounds like its just for sharing Prime with a spouse and I also saw stuff about wishlists but then she has to add every item one by one again and she is super busy and will probably mess up the quantities. Is there any way to just send a link to the actual cart so she can just click buy?
Is she on desktop? Unfortunately, session-locked cookies ruin sharing.
In my experience, Amazon doesnt offer a native link for carts since they are session-locked to your specific account ID. I ran into this exact problem last year while ordering hardware for a dev environment. I ended up looking into how to share Amazon carts to find a technical workaround.
Giving out passwords is a huge security risk since your account has so much sensitive info. You might want to consider a share amazon cart extension instead. It basically functions by scraping the SKU data and quantities into a manifest she can import. Its way more reliable than wishlists which often fail to sync real-time inventory. Just be careful and make sure she verifies the subtotal first.
