So i am really struggling with the holidays coming up and my family keeps asking what the kids want and what I want and honestly my brain is just fried. I am usually the one who just writes everything down on a piece of paper and then I lose it or I take a photo of it and text it to my sister but then she loses it too. It is just a big mess every year and I end up with like three of the same coffee mug or the kids get double toys. I am looking for something super simple like an app or a website where I can just put a link to something or type Lego set and then my relatives can see it? But the catch is they have to be able to mark it as bought so nobody else buys it.

I tried looking at some things on my phone but they all seem so complicated like you have to sign up for a subscription or they want my credit card info and I really dont want to pay for something just to make a list. My budget is basically zero for this lol. I was thinking maybe there is like a shared notes thing? But I dont know if my mom she is 70 and lives in Ohio would be able to figure out how to use a shared document thingy. She barely knows how to use Facebook. My logic was if I could find something that just sends a link and they click it and it works that would be the best.

I am also worried about privacy i guess? I dont want some random company selling my kids names. Sorry if this is a really dumb question or if everyone already knows how to do this but I am just so behind on tech stuff. We have about three weeks before we all get together for the big exchange in Chicago so I really need to get this sorted fast. Is there an app that is like for dummies? Something where they dont even have to make an account maybe? I just want to make it easy for my aunt and my mother-in-law because if its too hard they just wont use it and they will buy more sweaters that nobody wears...
